Terms of Service

Last updated: May 24, 2026

These Terms govern your use of ChangelogStack ("the service", "we", "us"), operated by Selçuk Gönen from Türkiye. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

If you have any questions, email us at gonenselcuk@gmail.com.

The service

ChangelogStack generates AI-written changelogs from your GitHub pull requests. You connect repositories, we read PR metadata, and Claude AI drafts release notes you can review, edit, and publish.

Your account

You need a GitHub account to sign in. You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your GitHub credentials secure. One person or organization per account. You must be at least 16 years old to use ChangelogStack.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to generate misleading, defamatory, or unlawful content
  • Connect repositories you do not own or have permission to use
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service
  • Resell or rebrand ChangelogStack as your own service
  • Use the service to violate any law or third-party rights

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice when practical.

Your content

You retain ownership of your repositories, PR data, and any changelogs you generate or edit. You grant us a limited license to process this content solely to operate the service (generate drafts, render published pages, send transactional email).

Published changelog pages are public by default once you publish them. You can unpublish or delete them at any time from the dashboard.

AI-generated content

Changelog drafts are produced by Anthropic's Claude models from the data you connect. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or stylistically off. You are responsible for reviewing every changelog before publishing. We do not warrant that AI output is correct, and you should not rely on it for safety-critical or legally significant claims.

Subscription and billing

Pro tier costs $17 / month, billed via Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles payment, invoicing, applicable taxes, and the customer portal.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled
  • You can cancel at any time from the Manage subscription link in your billing page, which opens the Lemon Squeezy customer portal
  • After cancellation, your Pro features remain active until the end of the current billing period
  • Free tier is offered at no charge with reduced limits
  • Subscription payments are non-refundable. Since you can cancel at any time, your access continues through the end of the current billing period.

Service availability

We aim to keep ChangelogStack online and fast, but the service is provided "as is" with no uptime guarantee. We may perform maintenance, update features, or change pricing — material changes will be announced to active users by email.

Termination

You can stop using the service at any time and delete your account by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, for non-payment, or if we discontinue the service. On termination, your published changelog pages become inaccessible.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChangelogStack is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent change. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Türkiye.
